Global Box Office Weekend Report 17th - 19th March 2023: Shazam! Fury of the Gods makes its debut at the top of the global box office with $65.5 Million

Making its debut at the top of the global box office this weekend is the sequel movie Shazam! Fury of the Gods which gets a release in 78 countries taking $65 Million.

The movie pushes Scream VI from the top after a single weekend at the top which itself takes $28 Million this weekend for a total gross of $116 Million after 2 weeks of release.

Goin back up the box office this week as it starts to get a wide release is Suzume No Tojimari, this week taking $6.9 Million for a $121 Million total after 19 weeks.

Coming in at number 10 is My Happy Marriage which is a Japanese Drama/Fantasy about a couple forced into marriage who have to learn to live with each other, the movie takes $5.1 Million on its debut.

Finally new on the top 15 this weekend is Shin Kamen Rider which comes in at number 13 with just over $4.4 million on its debut.
