This years Oscar nomination are announced with Joker leading the pack with 11 nominations

Todd Phillips movie Joker leads the pack of Oscar nomination with 11 nods including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor.

Other notable entries include Scarlett Johansson getting 2 nomination for The Marriage Story and JoJo Rabbit.

The Best Actress award is always one of the most open but the big money will be on Ren�e Zellweger for Judy, especially as Jennifer Lopez didn't even get recognition for Hustlers.

For The Marriage Story lead actor Adam Driver also gets a nomination but we all know the award on the night will go to Joaquin Phoenix in Joker.

Little Women did very well with nominations as well with Saoirse Ronan getting a nod for Best Actress and Florence Pugh getting the recognition for Best Supporting Actress.

Sam Mendes will likely walk away with Best Director and his film 1917 is odd on favourite to win Best Feature on the night.

The ceremony is on 9th February 2020 and once again there will be no host after the success of last years hostless ceremony.
