UK Box Office Weekend 6th - 8th April 2018: Peter Rabbit makes it 4 weeks at the top

Peter Rabbit follows in the footsteps of the previous top film Black Panther and makes is 4 weeks at the top in a row.

The film this weeks takes £3.2 million which brings the film total to £32.2 million.

Staying at number 2 this week is Ready Player One which looses ground on Peter Rabbit this week taking £2.4 million from the weekend.

This pushes the Spielberg directed film to a total UK gross of £11.5 million after 2 weekends of release.

Highest new film of the week is A Quiet Place directed by John Krasinski and starring himself and his wife Emily Blunt.

The critically acclaimed film takes £2.7 million on its opening weekend.

Love, Simon is a new entry at number 4 this week and Isle of Dogs from Wes Anderson falles to number 5 this weekend.
