The new Cinematic DC Universe kicks off this weekend with DC head James Gunn's
Superman movie, the start of a series of movies which replaces the Synderverse series that died with
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in 2023.
The new version of Superman makes its US box office debut this weekend takes over $122 Million, the fourth highest of 2025.
Falling from the top after only a week is Jurassic World: Rebirth which is at number 2 this weekend with a total gross of over $232 Million after 2 weeks.
